Here at Naturally Baby we are pleased to be able to offer 2 lovely air conditioned sensory rooms; one is a dedicated baby space for non mobile babies and new crawlers, the other is a bigger room which is great for crawlers, cruisers and walkers. The Toddler Room is also ideal for mixed age groups so if you have a baby and a toddler, they will both be safe and entertained in here.
What is a sensory room?
It’s a specially designed space that provides a variety of sensory experiences to both relax and stimulate your child while introducing them to new experiences. Both rooms have interactive light and sound panels, fibre optics and bubble tubes.
There is also a carefully selected range of age appropriate toys which change regularly as we change the themes of the rooms. Many of the toys we use are available to purchase in the shop after your session (and you get 10% off).
What does a session look like and how do I book?
The sessions are all unstructured and PAYG. Each session lasts 1 hour 15 minutes which allows you to take things at your child’s pace and hopefully for you to enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit!
You can book alone or with a group of friends-many post natal groups use our sensory rooms as a regular meeting place and book the room for their exclusive use. We can do this for groups of six-call the shop on 01926 954188hel if you want to book for more than six.
The feedback we receive is always positive with people commenting on the cleanliness and the comfort of the rooms.
Our aim is to make you and your child feel welcomed and we are always on hand to help with bags, holding a baby so you can nip to the loo and making you a cup of tea when you’ve had a sleepless night.
